San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio was a Spanish mission town a century before Texas was Texas, and it still moves at a river's pace. The River Walk drops you a story below the traffic, where cypress trees lean over the water and the stone arch bridges have not changed in decades. Follow the Mission Reach south and the trail strings together four more eighteenth-century missions, each with a bell tower and a quiet courtyard. Back downtown there is Market Square for a Saturday lunch, the Tower of the Americas over Hemisfair, the restored brewery grounds at the Pearl, and more breakfast taco opinions than any one city should hold.

Our San Antonio collection is built around that river.
