Marfa is a railroad water stop that became an art pilgrimage, three hours from the nearest airport and completely unbothered by it. The Presidio County Courthouse rises pink over a town of maybe eighteen hundred people, the grasslands run flat to the Davis Mountains, and at 4,685 feet the air turns cold the minute the sun is gone. After dark, people park at the viewing platform on Highway 90 and wait for the Marfa Lights to flicker on the horizon, which they have been doing since the 1880s. Nobody has explained them. Nobody really wants to.
Our Marfa collection is drawn for that sky. The crewneck sweatshirt carries a lone-star-over-the-grasslands badge in dusk violet and adobe cream, the colors of the Trans-Pecos at nine at night, and it is the layer you will want when the viewing platform wind picks up. The tee is sparer, a single-line Marfa wordmark with the 1883 founding year, minimal enough to fit the town. The mug and sticker pack use the same artwork for a matched set.
