New Orleans has been a port on a crescent bend of the Mississippi since 1718, and it has spent three centuries refusing to hurry. Jackson Square wakes up to the cathedral bells and a brass band. The Quarter's iron balconies drip ferns over the sidewalk, the St. Charles streetcar rattles Uptown past live oaks and the Garden District's columns, and by nine at night Frenchmen Street has four bands going at once. Lunch is a po'boy, dessert is powdered sugar on your shirt, and the median you are standing on is the neutral ground, not the median.

Our New Orleans collection is built around that crescent. The crewneck sweatshirt carries a moon-over-the-river badge in plum and brass, the colors of a Quarter balcony at midnight, and it is the right layer for a December night on Magazine Street. The tee is cleaner, a hand-lettered New Orleans arc with the 1718 founding year, thin enough for a July second line. The mug and sticker pack use the same artwork, so the set matches, with a little lagniappe thrown in.

Everything is original art from independent designers, printed to order in the USA and shipped in days. It is for people born in the 504, people who moved here and became locals in a single festival season, and anyone who left and still keeps a crawfish boil on the calendar.

Why we love New Orleans

  • ✦The St. Charles streetcar has run under the same live oaks since 1835
  • ✦Frenchmen Street puts live jazz in a dozen rooms within two blocks
  • ✦Crawfish season turns every backyard into a party from January to June
  • ✦City Park holds one of the largest stands of mature live oaks in the world

Best time to go: March and April for crawfish season, festival weekends and the last mild air before summer; late October through December for cool nights in the Quarter.

New Orleans apparel FAQ

Are these official New Orleans or Mardi Gras merchandise?+

No. Every New Orleans design is original artwork from independent designers. We are not affiliated with the City of New Orleans, any Mardi Gras krewe, any festival or any sports team.

Is the New Orleans crewneck too heavy for the climate?+

The crewneck is a midweight 50/50 cotton-poly fleece, right for the city's cool months and cold restaurant air-conditioning. The tee is a breathable ring-spun cotton for the humid ones. Each product page lists the fabric and weight.

When will my order arrive in Louisiana?+

Orders print in the USA in 2 to 5 business days and usually reach Louisiana addresses 2 to 4 business days after that. Tracking is emailed the moment the package ships.
