The Tetons have no foothills. The range jumps seven thousand feet straight out of the sagebrush flats of Jackson Hole, which is why the Grand looks the way it does in every photograph taken from Mormon Row, Oxbow Bend or the Snake River Overlook where Ansel Adams stood. Moose browse the willows at dawn, bison graze below the Moulton barns, and in late September the aspens along the Snake turn so yellow the river looks lit from below. Jenny Lake sits at the foot of the peaks with a boat shuttle to the Hidden Falls trail, and the park road is one long reason to pull over.
Our Grand Teton collection starts with a hand-engraved bull moose standing in the river at Oxbow Bend, the whole range reflected behind him and aspens on the bank. More scenes are coming for the Mormon Row barn, the Jenny Lake shuttle and the Snake River Overlook. The crewneck and hoodie are for a 30-degree sunrise at Schwabacher Landing; the tee and the mug are for the drive back into Jackson for breakfast.
