Bryce Canyon is not a canyon at all; it is the edge of a plateau crumbling into thousands of orange stone spires called hoodoos, and at sunrise the whole amphitheater lights up like coals. The rim sits at eight thousand feet, so the air is thin and cold even in summer, and the Navajo Loop drops you down through the slot of Wall Street into a forest of rock that Paiute stories say were people turned to stone. Thor's Hammer balances on its pedestal above the switchbacks, ravens ride the updrafts, and after dark the park is so far from any city that the Milky Way throws shadows.

Our Bryce Canyon collection starts with a hand-engraved view from the rim: the amphitheater packed with hoodoos, Thor's Hammer standing out front and snow on the pines. More scenes are coming for the Wall Street switchbacks, Queens Garden and the night sky. The crewneck and hoodie are for a 25-degree sunrise at Sunrise Point; the tee and the mug are for the drive on to Zion.

Everything is original artwork, printed to order in the USA. We are not affiliated with the National Park Service or any park concessioner.

Why we love Bryce Canyon

  • ✦The largest collection of hoodoos on Earth
  • ✦Sunrise on the amphitheater is worth the alarm clock
  • ✦The Navajo Loop drops you right into the spires
  • ✦It is one of the darkest night skies in the lower 48

Best time to go: May through October for the rim and the Navajo Loop; late September for cool air and thin crowds; winter for hoodoos capped with snow and some of the darkest night skies in the country.
